About Us

The outpatient clinics for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (BUM) offer specialist care for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age who do not require hospitalization.

We collaborate across unit boundaries. We investigate, treat, and follow up on allergies, asthma, gastrointestinal diseases, epilepsy, urinary tract infections, and growth issues. We also treat certain developmental deviations and psychosomatic problems.

The Hisingen Children and Youth Clinic is located in newly built functional premises with a fantastic view over the entire Gothenburg. Here we receive approximately 34,500 children and adolescents from all over Hisingen.

At the clinic, we have an established collaboration with Drottning Silvia's Children's and Youth Hospital, health centers, BVC, and school health services. Here, pediatricians, pediatric nurses, psychologists, dietitians, and medical secretaries work together. We have a good collaborative climate, satisfied patients, and a varied work environment.

About the Job

We offer a varied and stimulating job at our clinic. As a pediatric nurse, you will work both individually and in a team. Your tasks will include having your own nursing consultations regarding asthma, enuresis, obesity, and more. The work also involves telephone counseling, sampling, team visits with other professionals, and food challenges.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have specialized training in pediatrics and previous experience in pediatric care along with a few years of professional experience, it will be considered an advantage. If you also have experience in outpatient work, we see it as particularly meritorious.

As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaborative skills. Maintaining a professional approach and a positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues is a given for you. We would like you to have an interest in developing the business together with us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is a temporary contract starting as soon as possible for up to 18 months.
